| How to Become an MMA Big Show Fighter |
|
Hit the jump to get the low down on becoming an MMA Big Show fighter. It's not easy but it's worth it.
So you want to become an MMA Big Show fighter. That's wonderful news and we greatly appreciate the interest! The MMA Big Show is one of the most respected and sought after Pro/Am promotions in the United States and continues to accomplish more and grow each year. We have taken brand new fighters from amateur status to national recognition in their pro careers and have given many up and comers a chance to test themselves against the accomplished names of today. We know why you want to fight here, but the question is, why are you worth having? No, don't get me wrong, I'm sure you are a great and very skilled fighter. But out of the over 1,000 fighters in the MMA Big Show database, why you? Sometimes I send out an email to over 900 fighters and managers needing a quick replacement for a Professional bout. When I send out such emails, you will never know what I'm looking for exactly but a few things always weigh in on my decisions on who to pick out of the 50 responses I get the first hour. They are as follows: #1. Fighter Record (Ammy and Pro) #2. Price (We never make offers) #3. Proximity to Venue (We dont fly in anybody without the ability to sell tickets by name alone) #4. Ticket Sales (Maybe you aren't a name fighter yet, but you can sell 100 tickets to the event. That works! And you make $5 for each one!) Those are the top determining factors to start things off. The other factors I consider to narrow things down are: #1. Background/Story (Who are you and why would people care about you?) #2. Quick Communication (Are you quick to respond to emails or return calls? If not, I'm sorry you were replaced.) #3. Gets Things Done (Do you have your license done? National ID? Bloodwork up to date? If so, you are a head above many) Overall, all of these things play into who gets selected for an opportunity to fight for the MMA Big Show. The same goes for amateur fighters.
